Charmayne Maxena "Maxee" Maxwell (Brownstone) (January 11, 1969 - February 27, 2015) - Age: 46

Maxwell was at her home on Friday when she fell and cut her throat on a drinking glass that shattered during the fall, her representative said Monday. Her husband found her some time later and called 911. Maxwell was rushed to a hospital where she died.

Puff Johnson (December 10, 1972 - June 24, 2013) - Age: 40

Before moving to South Africa in 2008, Puff Johnson (born Ewanya Johnson) was diagnosed with cervical cancer. She stayed there for two years, and when she was no longer responding to treatment, Puff moved back the U.S. to be with family and friends. On June 24, 2013, Puff Johnson succumbed to her battlle with cancer.

Natina Reed (Blaque) (October 28, 1979 - October 26, 2012) - Age: 32

October 26, 2012, two days shy of her 33rd birthday, Reed, who was part of the R&B group Blaque, was struck by an motorist while talking on the phone in Lawrenceville, Georgia while crossing the street.

whitney houston (August 9, 1963 - February 11, 2012) - Age: 48

On February 11, 2012, Houston was found dead in her guest room at the Beverly Hilton, in Beverly Hills, California. The official coroner's report showed that she had accidentally drowned in the bathtub, with heart disease and cocaine use listed as contributing factors.

Rodney Lattrel Evans (Art N' Soul) (June 22, 1967 - June 21, 2010) - Age: 42

It is reported that the keyboardist for the 90's R&B act Art N' Soul, Rodney Lattrel Evans, died in 2010 of heart failure.

michael jackson (August 29, 1958 - June 25, 2009) - Age: 50

On June 25, 2009, Jackson suffered cardiac arrest in his Los Angeles home. He was rushed to the hospital after his heart stopped and CPR attempts failed, and died later that morning. the singer had died from acute propofol intoxication. A police investigation revealed that Dr. Murray was not licensed to prescribe most controlled drugs in the state of California. As a result, Jackson's death was ruled a homicide, and Murray was convicted of involuntary manslaughter on November 7, 2011.

Orish Grinstead (702) (June 2, 1980 - April 20, 2008) - Age: 27

Orish  was a founding member of the R&B group 702. Though there were many changes over the years with the group's lineup Orish managed to stay with them off and on. She left in 2001, but returned in 2003 shortly before they disbanded. On April 20, 2008, she passed away from complications of kidney failure and cancer.

sean leVert (September 28, 1968 - March 30, 2008) - Age: 39

Levert became ill while incarcerated in the Cuyahoga County Correctional Facility, prior to his transfer to a state prison, reporting high blood pressure and hallucinations; he died six days after being admitted to the jail, on March 30. The Cuyahoga County coroner ruled in May that his death was caused by complications from sarcoidosis. In 2010, his widow was awarded 4 million dollars as a result of a lawsuit filed against Cuyahoga County.

tony thompson (Hi-Five) (September 2, 1975 - June 1, 2007) - Age: 31

On June 1, 2007, Thompson's body was discovered by security officers at around 10 p.m. near an air-conditioning unit outside of an apartment complex in his native Waco, Texas. An autopsy later determined that Thompson died from “toxic effects of chlorodifluoromethane,” or inhaling a toxic amount of freon.

gerald leVert (July 13, 1966 - November 10, 2006) - Age: 40

On November 10, 2006, Gerald Levert was found dead in his bed at his Cleveland, Ohio home when his cousin tried to wake him. an autopsy report conducted by theCuyahoga County coroner's office concluded that Levert's death was caused by a fatal combination of prescription narcotics and over-the-counter drugs.  The autopsy also revealed that Levert had pneumonia. The official cause of death was acute intoxication, and the death was ruled accidental.

Keven "Dino" Conner (H-Town) (November 18, 1974 - January 28, 2003) - Age: 28

On January 28, 2003, Dino was killed in an automobile accident in Houston, Texas. According to police, Dino had just left a recording studio and was a passenger in a car being driven by his pregnant fiancée, 22-year-old Teshya Rae Weisent. Their vehicle was struck by an SUV that ran a red light, and both Dino and Weisent were killed. At the time of Conner's death, H-Town was said to have just finished what would have become their fourth album. They eventually released their reunion album Imitations of Life on October 12, 2004.

Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes (TLC) (April 27, 1971 - April 25, 2002) - Age: 30

On April 25, 2002, Lopes was killed in a car accident in La Ceiba, Honduras, when she swerved off the road to avoid hitting another vehicle. She was thrown from her own vehicle and was killed instantly. The last days of her life were documented from March 30, 2002, until her death on April 25, 2002. The footage included the accident that took her life and was made into a documentary called The Last Days of Left Eye.

Aaliyah Dana Haughton (January 16, 1979 - August 25, 2001) - Age: 22

On August 25, 2001, Aaliyah and eight others were killed in a plane crash in the Bahamas after filming the music video for the single "Rock the Boat". The pilot, Luis Morales III, was unlicensed at the time of the accident and had traces of cocaine and alcohol in his system. Aaliyah's family later filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Blackhawk International Airways, which was settled out of court.
